JOB SUMMARY:
The Revenue and Pricing Manager serves as a strategic business partner and analytical leader responsible for driving total revenue performance and operational efficiency across Universal Kids Resort – Frisco. This role combines advanced business analytics, industrial engineering principles, and revenue management strategies to identify and execute high-impact opportunities that enhance profitability, optimize pricing and inventory, and improve business processes. Leads data-driven initiatives that support senior leadership decision-making, ensuring alignment between pricing strategies, financial objectives, and operational execution. The position collaborates cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and the Hotel General Manager to translate analytical insights into measurable business outcomes and sustainable growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze hotel room revenue, occupancy, and booking trends by market segment, source, and channel mix. Use this data, along with macro-economic factors and business intelligence, to recommend dynamic pricing adjustments that maximize RevPAR and total hotel revenue. Provide feedback on forecasting and pricing tools for ongoing improvement.
- Initiate engagements with internal stakeholders, clients, and strategic partners to proactively identify and analyze business improvement and revenue growth opportunities. Research competitive offerings, assess feasibility, and develop business justifications or cases focused on enhancing operating cash flow, asset utilization, and process efficiency. Additionally, evaluate and implement strategies to drive incremental revenue across hotel, resort, and theme park operations through optimized pricing, guest experience initiatives, and diversified revenue streams.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge and techniques of industrial engineering and business analytics to ensure the use of structured, data-driven methodologies (e.g., probability and statistics, process flow analysis, optimization, simulation). Leverage the IdeaS Revenue Management System to model demand, optimize pricing and inventory strategies, and enhance forecasting accuracy. Explore and integrate new, state-of-the-art analytical tools and technologies to drive data-informed business decisions and continuous performance improvement.
- Partner with senior leadership and functional teams to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. Support long-range planning, financial modeling, and KPI development to align pricing and demand management initiatives with broader business objectives. Provide strategic input for pre-opening analysis, capital planning, and performance tracking.
- Manage the planning, direction, and execution of departmental projects and strategic initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Sales and Marketing, Hotel General Managers, and the Corporate Revenue team to ensure successful delivery of objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Finance, Sales, Marketing, the Hotel General Manager, and Corporate Revenue — to test, implement, and refine strategies that optimize pricing, profitability, and process efficiency. Knowledge of Opera Cloud, IDeaS, and Delphi systems is imperative to ensure accurate configuration, forecasting, and alignment of pricing decisions with hotel goals.
- Perform ad hoc reporting, data modeling, and forecasting to support pre-opening and ongoing hotel operations. Provide insights to aid in budgeting, market positioning, and competitive strategy. Provide input to and execute strategic growth plans. Maintain alignment with company mission, operational realities, and long-term business objectives.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Finance or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in hotel revenue management, pricing analysis, or financial analysis required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with systems such as IDeaS, Opera Cloud, and Windsurfer strongly preferred.
- Experience using reporting systems to support pricing and revenue optimization decisions and data tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Power BI strongly preferred, but training and development opportunities will be provided for the right candidate.
