JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the management, development, and implementation of short and long-term strategic marketing plans for all Trade segments to achieve business and financial objectives for Universal Kids Resort (UKR). Actively participates in all cross-departmental planning to ensure alignment with all origins and segments in order to elevate presence and positioning of the theme park and hotel within all partner campaigns. Leads the creation, management, and delivery of Team Member sales training. Directs workflow, manages vendor relationships, and reports on learning metrics and designs plans to increase success and engagement rates of external sales partners in the partner community, certification program, and internal sales teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with all Sales channels and origins on the development and execution of integrated Annual Plans to maximize exposure of the destination and on-site hotels through strategic positioning and exposure through partner initiatives maximizing distribution and ultimately achieving business goals. Responsible for leveraging trade social channels and the Universal Partner Community to develop ongoing engagement with our trade audiences. Develops and executes custom Trade content strategies.
- Coaches partner community team to deliver on REV objectives, to effectively communicate the direction of the community, and to meet / exceed business goals through strategic planning. Partners across departments and divisions to find efficiencies in the work and to ensure business, brand, and technical alignment.
- Leads the development of the Team Member sales training program that aligns with our brand identity and drives increased business performance. Sources external subject matter experts as appropriate to close specific skill gaps and manage those partnerships. Evaluates new learning solutions and identifies techniques designed to maximize training effectiveness, then designs and leads the implementation strategy of those programs.
- Develops strategic plans and recommendations to increase awareness, drive occupancies and increase revenues of on-site hotel through the meeting & events industry and its subsequent segments. Responsible for maintaining and evolving the Meetings & Events Brand, and all other business units with a group component (Youth, Leisure Group, etc.).
- Develops campaign performance measurements and look back assessments; maintains ongoing business tracking as necessary. Maintains ROI on all marketing initiatives to ensure business objectives are met and modifies as necessary to changing business demands.
- Ensures all cases within partner community, inclusive of sales specialist certification program, are completed satisfactorily and timely. Identifies solutions for recurring partner/client/Team Member challenges. Ensures training materials are updated, relevant and support current Standard Operating Procedures.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Articulate Rise/Storyline and/or Instructional Design certifications are preferred.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design or related field is required. Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in sales training is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
