JOB SUMMARY:

The Global Talent Acquisition leader is responsible for defining and leading UDX’s talent acquisition strategy to support the company’s continued growth and transformation and strengthen the recruiting model and related programs globally. The candidate will be a high impact talent partner to identify and address talent gaps, implement cutting edge sourcing tools and innovative processes to further build on existing and established programs to deliver recruiting excellence across the board.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic direction and seamless execution of the company’s global talent acquisition and recruitment efforts for corporate, new ventures, and international teams.
  • Identify mission-critical talent gaps and develop effective recruiting strategies for capturing and attracting top talent across the enterprise, as well as specialized programs for each line of business; champion the building of talent pipelines and communities for highly critical functional areas and diverse talent pools. Optimize existing recruitment programs, processes, tools and systems and foster an environment of collaboration and learning across the team.
  • Assess and calibrate the organizational structure to ensure the team is staffed appropriately to deliver timely and high quality service based on individual business unit demand, strategic staffing and mapping initiatives and other situational needs and circumstances.
  • Develop the go-to market Talent Acquisition strategy for Universal’s New Ventures.
  • Build and nurture strong, credible relationships with senior business line leaders, hiring managers, HR partners and other critical stakeholders across the organization, act as trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • In Partnership with NBCUniversal, evaluate and optimize recruitment systems, processes and metrics to inform / improve service delivery, reporting and sound hiring decisions; keep abreast of external trends and developments in the recruiting and talent industry and champion adoption and implementation of innovative and cutting-edge processes and tools.
  • Provide a high degree of specialized subject matter expertise in talent acquisition, brand management, vendor management and external affiliations. Continuously evaluate, coach and develop top notch sourcing and talent acquisition professionals and foster an environment of learning and maximum collaboration.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • 12+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 10 years in talent acquisition, either at a best-in-class global company or highly regarded recruiting firm

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Successful track record of leading a team of >25 individuals, including experience leading a global team.
  • Demonstrated success having led a large scale global recruiting function, having achieved best-in-breed status across a number of variables, including systems and processes, candidate experience, diversity, organizational culture and internal mobility.
  • Well-developed business partner skills; able to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders and HR Partners.
  • Exceptional influencing skills couple with a deep understanding of the business and talent within.
  • Sense of urgency; possesses a collaborative, yet relentless approach to process improvement and team management in order to achieve unparalleled results, especially around cost, execution and service.
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically federated HR partners across international territories; experience with the international landscape and awareness of key cultural nuances and legislation.
  • Fast learner and decisive leader with a quick mind, sound judgment and excellent problem solving / critical thinking skills.
