JOB SUMMARY:
Intern will assist leadership in creating and executing internal communication strategies to increase connectivity and understanding across teams globally in the Digital Technology group. By helping with the communication and integration strategy, Intern will learn the ins and outs of internal communication, executive support as well as grow interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects and prepares communication tactics that support the broader Digital Technology team, including town halls, weekly updates, email newsletters, leadership meetings, team initiatives, and more.
- Supports ongoing initiatives such as executive roundtables, event planning, onboarding, and orientation.
- Oversees maintenance of the Digital & Technology SharePoint site.
- Supports the Sr. Manager, Communications & Integration with any executive support that may require design and communication efforts.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Communications, Journalism, Strategic Communications.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator SharePoint required.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills required.
- Passion for technology and theme parks preferred.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
