JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Financial Strategy at UDX will serve as key partner to Sr Director, Financial Strategy to ensure seamless execution of high-priority strategic initiatives. This role bridges the gap between financial analysis and operational delivery by monitoring strategic milestones, modeling business cases and program development, and maintaining cross-functional communication. Role will be responsible for upholding project governance and providing the data-driven insights necessary to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Alignment & Execution
- Support Senior Director, Financial Strategy to drive execution of cross-functional workstreams key initiatives to ensure delivery that meets brand standards and budget.
- Monitor progress of strategic milestones and escalate risks or roadblocks.
- Continuously assess workstreams to ensure appropriate leadership, resources and execution capabilities are in place.
Strategic Analytics
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives and change orders.
- Conduct competitive and industry analysis to inform executive leadership on market dynamics in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Lead “value vs effort” analysis to prioritize workstreams with highest strategic ROI.
Cross-Functional Communication
- Coordinate activities to ensure initiative(s) progress on schedule, accurately tracking program health and status through regular updates.
- Collaborate with matrixed organization of departmental representatives to outline milestones, establish work plans, responsibilities, scope and tracking strategies.
Governance
- Assist Senior Director, Financial Strategy in establishing governance processes for strategic initiatives, including documentation, approvals, and reporting.
- Assist Senior Director, Financial Strategy in developing change order process for strategic initiatives to manage, approve, and document changes to project scope, budget, and schedule
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Political Science, Data Science, or related field required, MBA or Master’s preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Consulting, Project Management, or other related fields.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred

- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking deliverables, and maintaining accountability across complex workstreams.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with broader strategic initiative goals and leadership expectations.
