You now have the opportunity to join NBCUniversal, one of the world’s largest media companies, as part of our premier Studio Guide staff at Universal Studios Hollywood!

As the star of our legendary Studio Tour, you’ll lead behind-the-scenes excursions through our nearly 400-acre lot, sharing the magic of television and film production with guests from around the world. Studio Guides are entertainers, storytellers, improvisers, and ambassadors of Universal’s iconic legacy.

Job Description:

As a Studio Guide, you will:

  • Host the world-famous Studio Tour, speaking live to guests on our trams
  • Share behind-the-scenes knowledge of Universal’s film and television history
  • Engage, educate, and entertain guests of all ages
  • Represent the NBCUniversal brand with professionalism and enthusiasm

Casting Criteria:

We are extremely selective in the casting of our Studio Guides. To be considered, you must have:

  • A performance and/or public speaking background
  • An enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing personality
  • A mature attitude and self-confidence
  • Solid television and film knowledge
  • An excellent speaking voice
  • A charismatic on-camera presence
  • An exceptionally well-groomed appearance
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Important Dates:

To be considered, you must be available for ALL of the following:

  • May 20, 2025 @ 4:00 PM – Virtual Info Session (mandatory)
  • May 21, 2025 @ 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – In-Person Callbacks
  • May 22–23, 2025 – Final Interviews (In-Person, Scheduled Times)
  • June 16 – July 5, 2025 – Guide Training (In-Person, Full Availability Required)

Employment Details:

  • Studio Guide positions are cast initially on a seasonal basis
  • Year-round roles are offered based on seniority and performance
  • After training, you must be available at least three days a week, including one weekend day during Peak Seasons
