Vault Cashier

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & distribute starting banks for all cash-handling departments
  • Collect & verify funds from cash-handling departments including Cash Recyclers and Volumatic units
  • Count & verify incoming cash and coins form Venues, Cash Recyclers and Volumatic units and balance with their total
  • Check on suspicious documents for counterfeits and notify proper authorities
  • Process incoming pneumatic tubes from front gate
  • Prepare & verify bank deposits
  • Answer phones and service window traffic
  • Perform periodic audits of Cash Recyclers (ex. coin in MIMO) or when needed
  • Balance/account for Vault funds mulitple times each day
  • Process special request for cash (ex. petty cash or workflows)
  • Prepare cash and coin to be inventoried (ex. strap and bundle cash, wrap and box coin)
  • Prepare daily sales paperwork to be sent to Finance Department
  • Manage/Maintain Cash Recyclers Units
  • Manage/Maintain Volumatic Units
  • Report and assist park employees with Cash Recyclers and/or Volumatic issues
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
  • Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
  • Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Valid CA driver's license
  • Basic knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask
  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Able to take direction & follow through quickly & efficiently
  • Prior high-volume retail or cash handling experience
  • 10-key by touch preferred 

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • The noise level is generally moderate to high
  • Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors

Schedule:

  • Must have open availability 

Pay:

  • $20.25 per hour (After 1,000 hours worked, pay increases to $24.25/hr)
