Audition - Face Characters

Universal Studios Hollywood is now accepting video submissions for the following roles:

Voice Characters:

• Optimus Prime in the likeness of Peter Cullen's voice
• Megatron in the likeness of Hugo Weaving's voice

Notes for Voice character roles:

• Role requires performers to sustain the voice of characters for extended periods of time.
• Strong guest interaction skills required; improv experience preferred. 
• Cast performs approximately five (5) 25-minute sets per day.

Voice + Puppeteer Characters

• Snowball
  • Seeking skilled voice and puppeteer performers to portray the role of Snowball while operating a Snowball puppet.
  • Role requires strong improv and guest interaction skills.
  • Role requires performers to sustain the voice of Snowball while operating a puppet comparable to operating two joysticks and simultaneously pressing multiple pedals on the floor.
  • Role performs approximately six (6) 30-minute sets per day indoors.
  • Sides for self-tape are included in the submission link below.
• Donkey
  • Seeking skilled voice and puppeteer performers to portray the role of Donkey while operating a Donkey puppet.
  • Role requires strong improv and guest interaction skills.
  • Role requires performers to sustain the voice of Donkey while operating a puppet using a brake control system, comparable to operating two bicycle hand brakes simultaneously while performing a twisting motion with the main rod of the puppet from a seated position. 
  • Role performs approximately six (6) 30-minute sets per days indoors. 
  • Sides for self-tape are included in the submission link below. 

Note for all roles:

• Must be 18 years or older and be able to provide proof of eligibility to work within the United States
• All performers hired for these positions will be covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA).

Pay Rate:

• Pay rate range from $33.50-35.50/hr. 

Selected candidates will be invited to attend callbacks.
