Responsibilities: |
- Support the Assistant Director with the development and implementation of trainings/workshops for the student leaders of the Student Programming Board, which includes attending general & executive board meetings as well as the Summer/Winter trainings.
- Serve as an advisor to the Student Programming Board providing guidance and support to the executive board, and general members.
- Develop programming for specialized populations (i.e. commuter, transfer, veteran, non-traditional, families, etc.)
- Assist with the development, coordination, implementation, and assessment of cultural, inclusion, and social justice programming.
- Serve as a liaison with the Assistant Director between Office of Student Engagement and the Department for Cultural & Global Engagement.
- Serve as a programming resource for the Multicultural Student Leadership Council.
- Advise the WQAQ student media organization, providing guidance and support to the editor, executive board, and general members.
- Assist in processing payments, reimbursements, and orders for student media groups
- Manage student media Chrome River by uploading receipts, providing transactions descriptions, etc.
- Assist with event contracts and riders
- Assist with Orientation Leader Selection.
- Serve in on-call duty rotation with other Graduate Assistants to support evening/weekend programming at York Hill & Mount Carmel campuses.
- Chaperon off campus trips when necessary.
- Event support during all major Student Programming Board and OSE events.
- Develop, execute, and assess a leadership development series in collaboration with other OSE graduate assistants.
- Assist with university, division, department/office events (i.e. Open Houses, Admitted Students Days, Move-In, Welcome Weekend, Senior Experience, etc.)

Qualifications: |
- Must be a graduate student, in good standing, currently enrolled in coursework at Quinnipiac University.
- Prior experience with student center/union or large-scale event space operations preferred.
- Prior experience managing employees.
- Prior experience with program development and execution.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when required.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Ability to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and to exhibit a positive, helpful attitude.
- Ability to work and maintain focus in a high-energy environment.

Hours of Position: |
- Majority of hours held between the business hours of 9am-5pm, Monday- Friday with some weekend and evening responsibilities.
