Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty or Visiting Faculty: Finance Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds and experience in Investments (traditional and alternative), Portfolio Management, Trading, Market Microstructure, and Behavioral Finance. Candidates with experience in Corporate Finance, Advanced Financial Modelling, and Financial Institutions will also be considered. This position is part of the school’s strategic plan to transform the existing finance major in response to industry trends.
Student Employment: Presidential Public Service Fellow - Summer 2025 Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
All undergraduate students from any major are encouraged to apply. Fellows engage in fulltime summer public service in a Hamden or North Haven Town government department. Fellows provide service to the Town under the mentorship of a Town Department Head and carry out an individual project meeting the needs of the Town and provides a tangible and durable benefit to the community. Starting May 26, students will be expected to work fulltime until July 25. Students will be placed in one of the following government offices according to town needs and student background and interest: Mayor’s office, Town Clerk, Senior Services, Community Development, Economic Development, Library, Planning and Zoning, Town Engineer, Public Works. Pay: Stipend for the summer is $6500, plus on-campus summer residence hall lodging for no charge. Fellows are enrolled in a three-day academic course for orientation and training for no tuition charge, starting March 27. Full time work starts on May 26 and ends on July 25.

Student Employment: Advising Assistant for the College of Arts and Sciences - Spring 2025 Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
The Advising Assistant in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Advising Commons works closely with the Director of Student Advising, the Director of Career Development, and the Advising Specialist to support the CAS 360 advising model, which integrates academic and career advising. This person will primarily meet with students on a drop-in basis for approximately 15-minute conversations that support the advising relationship between the students and their advisor(s).
Student Employment: Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador – Spring 25 Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
Student Ambassadors provide campus tours to prospective students and their families as well as groups visiting campus for daily tours, information sessions and large-scale recruitment events.
