| The Head of Shabbos on the Wilf Campus oversees all aspects of Shabbos operations, combining the roles of Shabbos Coordinator and Shabbos Programming Lead. This position is responsible for creating menus, projecting attendance, communicating quantities with Five Star, coordinating food deliveries, managing kitchen storage and equipment, and tracking inventory to ensure all items are received and accounted for. The Head of Shabbos handles CafCard charges, allergy and complaint management, and coordinates special meals such as JSS and Sephardic Shabbatonim. They serve as the primary liaison between OSL, UTS, the Cafeteria, and Five Star, ensuring seamless logistics. Additional responsibilities include preparing the weekly Shabbos schedule, inviting and housing Shabbos guests, hiring and supervising the Mashgiach and wait staff, and overseeing Friday night and Shabbos day meals. This role requires full oversight of all food orders, budgeting, and menu adjustments to maintain a high-quality, well-organized Shabbos experience on campus. 19 hours per week. |
