Position Summary:

Yeshiva University seeks an energetic and detail-oriented emerging professional to join our Institutional Advancement team as a Development Associate. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the field of fundraising and development. The Development Associate will provide essential support across a variety of projects, working closely with the development team, assisting with events, and contributing to donor engagement and office operations.

Position Responsibilities:
|
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the development team.
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of donor events and fundraising initiatives.
- Prepare donor correspondence as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in the donor database, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Support stewardship efforts, including acknowledgments and recognition activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the department to advance fundraising goals and donor engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the department, including some evening events.

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
|
|
Skills & Competencies:
|
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with donor databases a plus.
- Commitment to professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning and growing in the field of development.

Salary Range:

$29.75 - $31.85 per hour
