Position Summary:
|
Yeshiva University’s Katz School of Science and Health is seeking an Associate Director of Student Recruitment (AD). Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management and Partnerships, the AD represents our graduate and professional programs in Science and Technology, Business, Management, Health, and Nursing. This is a field-based position that combines ongoing relationship-building with prospective students, undergraduate institutions, and professional organizations. The position requires significant travel locally and across the U.S., and a schedule that flexes with the demands of the recruitment cycle, including evening and weekend availability during peak periods throughout the year. Travel is roughly 60% during peak seasons. The goal of this work is to build pipelines of domestic applicants that connect the right students with the right program. When that match is made well, students succeed academically and move into meaningful careers.

- Beyond the event calendar, proactively identify and create outreach opportunities through tabling, community events, and other public-facing activities.
- Have honest and educated conversations with prospective students about cost and financing, return on investment, balancing work and study, and whether a program fits their goals — being candid when it doesn’t.
Build Relationships and Establish Agreements
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with faculty, academic advisors, undergraduate research offices, and career center professionals at colleges and universities across the U.S. — including public, private, and faith-based institutions.
- Establish and sustain relationships with employers and professional associations (e.g., IEEE, 1199SEIU, SHRM) to support employer-sponsored and professionally aligned recruitment activities.
- Develop co-sponsored programming with partner institutions, such as graduate school workshops, departmental presentations, and alumni events.
- Identify and formalize feeder school relationships and articulation agreements with select colleges and organizations — turning one-off recruitment visits into structured, recurring pathways that bring qualified students to our programs.
Collaborate and Strategize Across Functions
- Share insights and feedback with the admissions and call center team to ensure seamless communication and engagement with students from inquiry to enrollment.
- Work closely with colleagues in the academic department, communications, and marketing to implement and refine recruitment and yield strategies.
