Position Summary:
|
Receives and stores perishable and dry goods items.
Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7 am -3:45 pm, Friday 9 am - 2:30 pm
|
|
Position Responsibilities:
|
- Stores perishable and dry goods items, ensuring accuracy of the FIFO system
- Segregates dented cans and outdated items
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms organized
- Communicates with managerial staff about any storage issues, inventory, or damaged merchandise
- Conducts inventories as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Experience & Educational Background:
|
- High school diploma
- 2 to 4 years of related experience is required
- Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws is also preferred
|
|
Skills & Competencies:
|
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
- Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
- Provides excellent customer service
- Creative thinker with original ideas

Salary Range:
|
Grade 5
1199 New Hire rate: $28.06 and 1199 One Year of Service rate: $28.63
