Qualifications:
|
- Currently enrolled as a student majoring in a relevant field such as Communication Arts, Film, Photography, or a related discipline.
- Strong passion for media production and a desire to expand skills in video, photography, and multimedia content creation.
- Familiarity with video editing software.
- Basic knowledge of video and audio equipment and their operation in a studio setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic studio environment.
- Creativity and attention to detail. |

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Interns will get experience in the following areas:
1. Editing focused
a. chroma keying (i.e. green screen)
b. scrub audio (i.e. omit room tone)
c. level audio
d. work with different file formats
e. import and export
2. Adobe Creative Suite
a. Premiere
b. Audition
c. Photoshop
3. Archive media
4. Shoot campus b-roll
5. Setup studio
6. Work with teleprompter and its software
7. Video lecture recordings in studio
8. Upload and share media to multiple, accessible platforms
a. Kaltura MediaSpace
b. Google Drive
c. Box
9. Caption videos
a. machine-ordered (i.e. auto caption)
b. alignment text (i.e. submit .txt file)
c. proof and polish captions
10. Communication between clients
11. Project management
a. from pre-production to post
Interns will also have the opportunity to leave the experience with a Digital Portfolio/Reel of their work.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Assist in Video Production:
- Collaborate with the production team in planning and executing video shoots.
- Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices during video recording sessions.
- Assist with setting up studio space.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and organized.
Editing and Post-Production:
- Edit and assemble video footage using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Enhance video and audio quality, add graphics, text, and effects as needed.
- Contribute to the development of engaging and informative multimedia content.
