About the role
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Kardinia Park precinct, ensuring asset maintenance requirements are met. You will assist in planning and executing maintenance programs, operate and maintain equipment, and provide leadership to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in planning and preparing maintenance programs for all Kardinia Park facilities (excluding those managed by the Stadium Trust).
• Accurately record team activities and submit operational documentation weekly to the Supervisor Turf Management.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to delivering high-quality, customer-focused maintenance services.
• Operate and maintain equipment efficiently and in compliance with laws, codes of practice, and safety policies.
• Lead the team in responding effectively to infrastructure maintenance issues, including storm damage, vandalism, and wear and tear.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in horticulture and turf management, particularly in sporting grounds and cricket wickets. You will possess strong leadership and communication skills, and be capable of managing time and resources effectively.

Essential Experience:

• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Current Victoria Working with Children’s Check.
