About the role
This role supports the day-to-day and strategic operations of Swim, Sport and Leisure services, with a strong focus on workforce coordination, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, community-focused services while identifying opportunities to enhance performance and operational outcomes.
Work type: Permanent Full Time
Classification: Band 6 Commencing at $95,760 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Support recruitment and workforce scheduling across the Swim, Sport and Leisure network to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor and analyse program performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the delivery and operational management of programs across multiple facilities.
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders on operational and project-related matters.
- Contribute to project coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
About you
You are a proactive and organised professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are motivated to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for the community.
Essential Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Sport and Recreation, Business or Management, with relevant professional experience, or a lesser formal qualification with substantial experience in the Aquatic and Recreation Industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
