About the role
In this role, you will take the lead in shaping quality across complex enterprise technology environments. This role drives testing strategies across both commercial off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions, ensuring systems are robust, reliable, and ready to deliver exceptional outcomes. - Lead the development of test approaches, including test strategies and test plans, for initiatives involving multiple integrated COTS and bespoke systems, applying risk based and context appropriate testing methods.
- Analyse functional and non‑functional requirements to identify quality risks and define appropriate test coverage.
- Design, review, and execute testing activities across system, integration, regression, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing professional oversight where testing is shared across teams or vendors.
- Provide independent advice on defect severity, testing outcomes, and release readiness, clearly articulating quality risks, trade-offs, and mitigation options to project, product, and business stakeholders.
- Support and guide business stakeholders through UAT to ensure test scenarios reflect real world operational processes and that outcomes are understood, validated, and appropriately signed off.
