The role of a Learn to Swim Teacher
A Learn to Swim Teacher plays an important role in creating a safe, positive and engaging environment for students of all ages and abilities. The role involves instructing and assessing participants in swimming and water safety skills through structured swim programs, while providing supervision, education and care in accordance with pool safety guidelines. Learn to Swim Teachers are responsible for building confidence in the water, giving constructive feedback to students and parents, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the swim school program. They also require excellent communication and customer service skills, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
To be eligible you must be between 16-25 years old and be able to complete 8 hours of online learning before the course date.
