A bit about the role

Join the team at Bunjil Place as a Customer Service & Ticketing Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in creating a seamless and memorable visitor experience. Acting as a key point of contact for all ticketing and event-related enquiries, you’ll provide exceptional service across phone, online, and in-person channels. With a strong focus on accuracy, professionalism, and a passion for the arts, you’ll support box office operations, promote programs and services, and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure every guest feels welcome.

You’ll bring proven ticketing experience, digital literacy, and a collaborative mindset to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. If you’re enthusiastic about the arts, thrive in customer-focused roles, and enjoy working at the heart of a vibrant cultural precinct, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Perform daily financial reconciliations and assist with general ticketing administration tasks.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in ticketing and box office operations, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated digital literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems (experience with Tessitura is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A passion for the performing arts and creating exceptional visitor experiences. Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, and Eligibility to Work check.
