St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing K-12 school with a student population exceeding 1500 students in 2024. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the College is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8), and Senior Years Learning (9-12). St Francis is finalising its 7th Stage of Building Development and offers state-of-the-art learning & specialist KLA facilities.
A permanent full time position commencing 31 January 2025. The successful applicant will be a Middle Leader (2pt) - Stage 3. The role of the Middle Leader exists to support the Principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning and wellbeing of students, and assist the college leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.

- Leads change and improvement to enhance learning for all students

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- A well developed contemporary understanding of education including concepts such as Deep Learning and/or Learning by Design.
- Demonstrated experience driving a culture of learning with like-minded professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Level D Accreditation in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy.
- Level C Accreditation in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period.
- NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
