The Executive Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full-time position of School Technology Support Officer, with Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW), based at St Justin's Catholic Parish Primary School, Oran Park.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the School Technology Support Officer provides services including IT operations within the school. Broadly the role involves administration, support function representation, maintenance and improvements in the Computer and IT services within the school.
ABOUT YOU
- Supportive of the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
- Ability to provide technical support, problem solve and troubleshoot hardware and software infrastructure to ensure continuity of service for staff and students.
- Proven ability to provide IT Helpdesk support over the telephone, in person and via remote access tools.
- Ability to represent the school in an honest, ethical and professional way.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft products, Google Workspace for Education, Mac OS, iOS, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Ability to prioritise work in a high volume environment.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Post - Secondary qualification in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT support field/role.
- Demonstrated experience working Compass and school-related systems is desirable.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
