A temporary part time position commencing 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2027.

This is an Australian Defence Force funded position to provide students from Defence Force families with support. The successful candidate will assist students to make links into the community, help students develop resilience, reduce anxieties and assist students achieve quality academic and social outcomes.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

  • A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • A demonstrated ability to empathise and work with young people.
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills both oral and written and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse    range of people e.g. students, school principal, school staff, parents, Defence Members and their families.
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • An ability to work under limited direction.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
