Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking an exceptional educational leader for the position of Executive General Manager - Learning Outcomes. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive General Manager – Learning Outcomes will lead initiatives and develop strategies that foster outstanding academic achievement and educational experiences. The role encompasses leadership of learning and teaching support services to schools, ensuring these services meet the diverse needs of students, teachers, and school communities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of CSPD’s learning and teaching strategies, embedding Catholic identity and social teaching principles in all educational practice.

 

  • Drive innovation in pedagogy, curriculum and assessment to improve student outcomes across all CSPD schools. Equip teachers with the resources, technologies and professional learning needed for exceptional teaching and student engagement. 

 

  • Set system-wide standards for success, using data and research to measure holistic student achievement and teacher development. 

 

  • Build partnerships and frameworks to expand pathways and diverse opportunities for student excellence. 

 

  • Provide strategic leadership in educational technology to enhance teaching and learning environments. 

 

  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring governance, compliance and sustainable growth. 

 

  • Mentor and develop leaders within the Learning Outcomes team, fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations and continuous improvement.

 

About You

The successful candidate will be:

 

  • A highly experienced senior leader with a proven capacity to lead complex educational systems and manage transformational change. 

 

  • A relational, strategic and emotionally intelligent leader who builds trust and collaboration across all levels of an organisation. 

 

  • Deeply knowledgeable in contemporary pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, and educational technology. 

 

  • An outstanding communicator, able to inspire and engage staff, students, families and the wider community. 

 

  • A committed Catholic, actively engaged in parish life and supportive of the mission of Catholic education. 

 

  • NESA-accredited (or eligible) with post-graduate qualifications in education or leadership.

The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
