Parramatta Marist is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Aide to commence in 2026 on a part-time basis. We invite applications from experienced teaching aides, or those willing to learn, with the passion and drive to continue to develop a strong and committed Diversity (Learning Support) team:
The successful applicant will have demonstrated:
Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic Education
Experience or an interest in learning support
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork to work in a team with other Diverse Learning teachers and Teachers Aides
Exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice and the intellectual, physical and social development of all students and those identified with disabilities and learning needs
Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities.
Specific Criteria:
Ability to work with children with diverse learning needs as well as other students within the classroom.
Display a patient, compassionate and caring nature.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team - such as teachers, parents, external providers.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the teacher and their students throughout the learning sessions.
Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety
A current Working with Children Check

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD'S Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
