Are you an experienced and passionate TAS teacher ready to step into a leadership role?  Marian Catholic College, Kenthurst is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our middle leadership team as Leader of Learning – TAS.

This is a permanent full-time position (1FTE) with a 2pt Leader of Learning (Coordinator) allowance, commencing Term 4, 2025 or the start of 2026 (depending on availability).

As part of your application, please indicate your area(s) of expertise within TAS, as this role includes a teaching load. 

About the Role

As TAS Leader of Learning, you will:

  • Lead a dynamic team of educators within the TAS Key Learning Area (KLA).

  • Guide the design, development and delivery of curriculum across Years 7–12.

  • Support assessment, reporting, data management and compliance requirements.

  • Build teacher capacity through coaching, mentoring and collaborative practice.

  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative, evidence-based pedagogies.

  • Inspire students to achieve and foster a lifelong love of learning.

About You

To be successful in this rewarding role, you will bring:

  • Current TAS teaching qualifications and experience, ideally up to Stage 6.

  • The capacity to challenge, inspire and lead teachers in contemporary practice.

  • Strong ICT skills with a willingness to integrate technology into learning.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • The ability to differentiate learning and create engaging, effective assessments.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contribution to a collaborative team.

  • The ability to teach Construction will be highly regarded, though not essential.

Compliance and Accreditation

Applicants must hold:

  • NSW Working with Children Check clearance.

  • Accreditation with NESA.

  • Registration or eligibility to be classified with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD).
