At Aston Martin, precision isn’t just in our craftsmanship, it’s in everything we do. We’re searching for a Finance Analyst based in Germany who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and clear financial insight to join our elite Finance team.
You won’t just be managing numbers, you’ll be a crucial part of a business that drives innovation and luxury on a global scale. Your role? Ensuring our monthly financial accounts are flawless and aligned with German accounting standards, supporting audits, and working closely with senior leaders and teams across Europe.
Strong communication skills are essential. You’ll present complex financial reporting matters clearly and understandably across various forums and levels of the organisation, always providing the right level of detail. Excellent written and verbal English is a must, while German language skills are a definite advantage. We’re looking for someone who is methodical, process-driven, and capable of interpreting and applying the complexities of relevant legislation and financial reporting standards. You’ll be comfortable working under pressure, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and actively seeking feedback to continuously improve and optimise processes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the month-end operational process, including accrual calculations and cost centre variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial close
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit activities in coordination with the wider accounting team
- Creating invoices for third parties and liaising with regional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and tax requirements
- Overseeing parts of the external audit process and maintaining strong relationships with key audit contacts
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and operating key financial review controls at period ends
- Managing intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensuring alignment of accounting sub-ledgers (Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Fixed Asset Register) with the General Ledger
- Maintaining system Segregation of Duties controls in partnership with the Internal Controls team
- Assisting with accounting and treasury transactional requirements, including approval of online banking transactions
What we’re looking for:
- Solid finance experience in multinational organisation, accounting or audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger and German GAAP (HGB)
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Clear, confident communication in English (German is a bonus)
- Familiarity with accounting systems like DATEV or Infor/LN
What you can expect:
- Hybrid working (minimal 3 days per week onsite in Frankfurt)
- Clear progression towards senior finance roles
- Being part of a world-renowned brand where your expertise truly matters
You will need to demonstrate flexibility in your working hours to meet the demands of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial deadlines, ensuring that the closing process is completed accurately and on time. This is essential to guarantee that financial statements are released promptly to headquarters and that all audit information is readily available.
If you want to bring your finance skills to a brand that sets the standard for luxury and performance, we’d like to hear from you.
