Are you ready to kick-start your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment?

We’re seeking Vehicle Maturation Degree Apprentice to join our team. As part of your role, you’ll learn how the department operates, and during your rotation understand the importance of other departments' deliverables which will help you gauge the bigger picture of how each department interlinks with each other.

 

About the role:

The role will sit within AMLs Vehicle Integration department and is housed within the Vehicle Maturation team. The role will directly interface with whole vehicle testing focussed mainly in the software testing domain ranging from preparation, operation, issue tracking, investigation and reporting.

 

What we’re looking for:

An individual with a methodical and tenacious approach to problem solving, and a desire to makes things better. An appreciation and passion for mechanical and software engineering. A true team player capable of picking up a task, delivering and passing onto to the next member, pulling together to create operational excellence.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be passionate about learning and applying your knowledge. Working effectively within a team and possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be key. Additionally, you should have a strong desire for delivering the best results and be motivated by the opportunity to work hands-on product.

 

You'll need to:

  • 3 A’s to include Mathematics and Physics.
    Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
    Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject.
  • Ability to work with others cross functionally and communicate well across all levels
  • Any extracurricular activity that demonstrates working as a team.
