The primary purpose of the Campus Nurse is to develop and provide on Campus Health Services in accordance with the University and Medical Centre Policies. Joining a team of experienced nurses, the successful incumbent will delivering high quality health services to staff and students. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background of providing primary health care including triaging, treatment, advice, referrals, and vaccinations.
As a Campus Nurse you will:

Provision of primary health care in accordance with the Nurse and Midwifery board guidelines, including triage, treatment, advice, health related counselling, screening and referral.

Applying Medical Centre/Student Services data management systems to ensure the maintenance of confidential health records, statistics and reports according to legal, medical, ethical standards and alignment with university policy.

Using understanding of patients’ needs to structure, develop, implement, and evaluate health education workshops and materials, which address their information needs or concerns.
