The Opportunity

The responsibility of this role is to provide all electrical cate and maintenance work ensuring productivity, safety and statutory testing is completed in a care and maintenance environment.

Key duties include:

• Make timely decisions and prioritisations to meet organisational objectives;
• Take ownership for own individual performance to achieve own and departmental goals;
• Acts to promote a friendly climate, good morale, and co-operation within team;
• Provide support for individuals and team;
• Champion a safe, productive, harmonious, and entrepreneurial work environment;
• Work closely and collaborate with other IGO personnel within the immediate team and across the business;
• Be readily availability to work when called to support operational requirements; and,
• Active member of the site ERT team.

Your Experience

Along with an engaging communication style and pro-active attitude, you must be a team player and bring the following skills:

• Strong technical expertise and extensive experience working within plant processing and ideally underground fixed plant equipment;
• Excellent communication skills at all levels from management to subordinates;
• High levels of time management skills and ability to prioritise workload;
• Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the business;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Flexible and adaptable attitude;
• Valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (preferred); and,
• National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
