The Opportunity

The Alternate Underground Manager will ensure that the mine and all associated infrastructure is kept in a safe and workable condition.

Key duties include:

• Continued statutory obligation are met for the running of the mine inclusive of Care and Maintenance activities;
• Proactive management of the mine dewatering system to ensure operation and reliability; and,
• Establish and maintain effective lines of communication within the organisation.

Your Experience

Along with an engaging communication style and pro-active attitude, you must be a team player and bring the following skills:

• First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency;
• Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent;
• Statutory Supervisor qualification;
• Statutory Senior Site Executive qualification;
• Valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (preferred); and,
• National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
