The Lead Program Instructor teaches the integrated foundations of engineering, programming, creative problemsolving, technical career exploration, and technical communication, and leads activities with a variety of groups including:| elementary, middle and high school students| teachers and school administrators| school and community counselors| family groups| senior citizens| regional librarians| graduate students| high school interns|The Lead Instructor also develops teaching and learning activities for these groups.
Bachelors degree in a relevant technical subject (e.g. sciences, math, engineering, technology, computer science, information technology, industrial education, art or other, or equivalent related training and/or experience.| Experience in formal and informal teaching of technical subjects to schoolaged students and adults.| Familiarity with regional school divisions.| Excellent public speaking/presentation skills.| Willingness to learn, teach, and/or facilitate a wide variety of subjects, activities, and experiences.|
Virginia or DCPS licensure in a relevant technical subject.| Advanced degree in teaching and learning, curriculum and instruction, education psychology, education research, or relevant technical subjects.
Commensurate with experience.
