The Vargas-Muñiz Lab studies the human fungal pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus. The Vargas-Muñiz Lab uses genetics, cell biology, microscopy, proteomics, immunological, and in vivo approaches to understand how A. fumigatus causes infection and responds to antifungals. The lab's goal is to provide fundamental insight that could guide the development of new antifungal interventions. This position is for onsite work.
