Job Description

The Engagement Center for Creative Aging is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Program & Support Specialist to join our Adult Day Services program for individuals living with dementia. In this hybrid clinical and administrative role, you will assist with medical tasks, support the smooth operation of the program through various administrative responsibilities and provide direct care to participants. This position is critical in ensuring the well-being of individuals living with dementia, providing them with a safe and supportive environment while maintaining efficient office and healthcare operations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant preferred or willing to undergo 40 hours of direct care training by our nurse.
• Experience working with individuals with dementia, elderly populations, or in an adult day services program.
• Clinical skills, including experience with vital sign monitoring, and basic first aid.
• Strong understanding of dementia and related cognitive impairments.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with medical office software (EMR systems) and basic office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health information with professionalism.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals living with dementia.
