About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team. Looking for applications from people who have experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pipelines projects.

• Understand the purpose of the design brief, be able to proficiently interpret it and ensure its requirements are met by the design deliverables.
• Prepare maintain and drive a design program, procurement and management of all design consultants.
• Reviews consultant’s budgets and contracts and monitors and reports changes to remain within budget.
• Work to drive design efficiency and deliver Value for Money outcomes.
• Ensuring that the content of design packages is appropriate for approval processes and suitable for construction use.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• A Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil), Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Engineering qualification.
• Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng) is advantageous.
• Previous history of working on Design and Construction projects as part of the Contractor or Design team.
