We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
Join Seymour Whyte for the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Upgrade Project, a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture with John Holland and focused on enhancing the rail transport network between Beerburrum and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. The project is due for completion in 2027.
We’re looking for experienced Supervisors to join our team and lead field construction activities on the B2N project. We have multiple roles available and are particularly seeking candidates with proven experience in structures, drainage, and civil works. In this role, you’ll take ownership of an allocated work area, ensuring all works are planned, scheduled, and delivered to the highest standards — safely, on time, and within budget.
About the Project:
The B2N Upgrade once completed will improve the North Coast Line, making travel faster and better connecting the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane. The project involves duplicating the North Coast Line, upgrading the Beerburrum Road and Steve Irwin Way intersection with a new overpass, expanding the park 'n' ride at Beerburrum Station, and replacing the Barrs Road level crossing with a new overpass. It also involves closing two private crossings, replacing the Burgess Street bridge, and completing early works like new park 'n' ride facilities at Landsborough and Nambour Stations, along with a 1km realignment of Steve Irwin Way. This is a unique opportunity to work on a landmark project that will benefit both local communities and the broader Queensland region.
