North Idaho College is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to help keep our lakeside campus beautiful, functional, and safe year-round. This is a hands-on role that combines technical skill, attention to detail, and pride in outdoor work.

In this position, you’ll do everything from mowing lawns, pruning trees, and planting flower beds to repairing irrigation systems and removing snow. You’ll operate a variety of equipment—including front-end loaders, tractors, sweepers, and power tools—and help coordinate irrigation schedules for optimal efficiency and minimal disruption to campus events. The role also involves applying fertilizers and pesticides, patching walkways, setting up event spaces, and assisting with general campus maintenance tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two years of full-time related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient in irrigation installation, repair, and scheduling in various irrigation programs.
• Ability to maintain a safe and productive environment.
• Ability to effectively present and speak one-on-one and in small group situations.
• Proficient skills in operating office equipment and a computer, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to read, write and speak in English.

Starting pay range: $17.46 - $20.08

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
