Key Responsibilities
- Friendly and professional reception of patients, visitors and Staff entering Calvary Mater Hospital.
- Accurate registration for the Emergency Department, Admissions, Discharges and Transfers.
- Health Fund and Medicare checks.
- Answering all calls within the switchboard in a friendly and professional manner.
What you bring
- Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, with well‑developed computer skills, preferably within a health care or clinical environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to accurately interpret and manage clinical and administrative information.
- Willingness and capacity to work shift work, with flexibility to adapt to short‑notice changes in roster requirements when operationally required.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, confidential and complex situations with professionalism and discretion.
- A genuine desire to join and contribute to a collaborative team committed to the care of others within a mission‑based organisation, aligned with Calvary’s values.

- Remuneration: $35.84 to $36.96 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
