Job Duties:

The Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) Buildings and Grounds department is seeking to fill a trades worker position. This position will perform the following duties, to include but not be limited to working on trades tasks such as assisting with building, construction, patching, and painting, assisting with larger tasks such as tree cutting and brush cleanup. Assists with other jobs on campus. Uses appropriate tools and PPE for work being done; operates equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, and ladders; and assists the trades crew with larger jobs when needed; assists with items such as painting, painting prep work, and filter changes.

This position is a seasonal summer position, typically working from May to August. Seasonal employees may work up to or exceed 40 hours per week, not exceeding 1500 hours per year.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic carpentry and trade tools.
Ability to work independently or with others.
Ability to work in a variety of weather environments, for example, working outside in the heat during the summer. Must have a valid driver's license.
