Job Summary/Basic Function:

Lake Superior State University's Facilities Management team is seeking dedicated student workers to help maintain our beautiful campus during the 2025-26 academic year. This regular part-time position offers the perfect opportunity to earn income while contributing to your university community.

As a Student Custodial Worker, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include assisting custodians with janitorial services for assigned buildings throughout campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a currently enrolled LSSU student

Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail

Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform cleaning tasks

Some heavy lifting may be involved (30 lbs. or more)

Work Hours: 

Monday - Friday; Up to 19 hours a week with flexible scheduling
