In this dynamic position, you’ll support the development of new and existing business by coordinating business development and feasibility activities, maintaining accurate stakeholder and pipeline insights, and contributing to meaningful collaboration. You will
- Support the business development team to foster and sustain effective engagement and collaboration with Contract Research Organisations (CROs), sponsors, and government agencies;
- Coordinate the research, maintenance and update of key stakeholder information, industry landscape insights, and pipeline data to enable efficient reporting, feasibility support, and continuous business growth planning; and
- Collaborate in the planning, execution, and review of business development activities to maintain prominent industry visibility and present the site network’s capabilities, experience, and strengths.
About you
You have a strong interest in business development within the life sciences and clinical research sector, with experience in a similar environment highly regarded. You understand the importance of quality and compliance, with knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) considered an advantage. Confident across a range of systems and Microsoft Office applications, you learn new tools quickly, with experience in CRM and project management platforms beneficial. You communicate clearly and professionally, building strong relationships and representing organisational values. Adaptable and dependable, you bring excellent organisational skills, effectively managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
You will possess:
- Completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in Health/Science/Bio-Medicine and/or Business;
- Demonstrated interest in business development within the life sciences/clinical research sector, with relevant experience highly regarded;
- Detailed working knowledge of ICH GCP (Good Clinical Practice);
- Strong computing skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with Project Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms desirable;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to represent site network values;
- Flexibility to travel to different clinical trial site locations when required;
- Strong organisational and coordination capability, with the ability to support business as usual operations, escalating where appropriate; and
- Ability to operate effectively within established frameworks and guidelines while prioritising competing demands and meet deadlines.
