About the Role

As the GIO Marketing Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing initiatives that differentiate GIO in the market. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact campaigns, optimise marketing ROI, and build customer journeys that disrupt competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing acquisition programs.
  • Create compelling marketing briefs in partnership with the GIO Marketing Manager.
  • Develop brand narratives that attract new customers and reinforce loyalty.
  • Collaborate with automation and content teams to deliver lifecycle and bespoke marketing programs.
  • Build campaigns around emerging platforms and social sentiment.
  • Apply test-and-learn methodologies and leverage data insights for continuous improvement.
  • Manage agency relationships and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing (mandatory).
  • 5–8 years’ experience in brand marketing (client or agency side).
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to interpret marketing data and manage ROI expectations.
  • Experience managing budgets and coordinating with external partners.
