About the Role

As Lead, Customer Insights, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Suncorp to make effective customer decisions. You’ll lead insight-driven engagements that connect customer feedback to strategic, operational, and financial outcomes. Your work will help shape customer strategy, experience initiatives, brand planning, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop performance frameworks using customer and market data, identifying themes and opportunities.
  • Create and communicate the narrative of customer performance, blending qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Identify customer needs and expectations through behavioural observation and feedback analysis.
  • Support planning and prioritisation by understanding customer value drivers.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data requests and enhance performance reporting standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10 years’ experience in research, analytics, or business performance roles leveraging qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Strong background in primary and secondary research, data triangulation, and market context analysis.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets, statistical analysis, and coding languages.
  • Relevant degree in Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Maths/Statistics or similar (desired).

  • Strong customer focus and ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
  • High proficiency in statistical techniques and data visualisation (e.g., regression, multivariate analysis, data storytelling).
