Are you a strong leader with a passion for developing talented teams? We have a 5-month secondment opportunity for a Manager, Analysis (Chapter Lead) to guide a team of Business Analysts and deliver high-quality outcomes. In this role, you’ll set the standard for best practices, drive continuous improvement, and play a key part in shaping how we work across the business.
What You’ll Do
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts, helping them become experts in their craft.
• Set and uphold high standards, principles, and best practices for business analysis across the organisation.
• Collaborate with delivery leads and stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and ensure the right skills are in the right place.
• Drive continuous improvement by staying up to date with industry trends and fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the chapter.
• Build strong partnerships with Product Owners, Tribe Leads, and Technology teams to enable smooth delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Lead change management initiatives that support Suncorp’s transformation and agile ways of working.
• Create an inclusive, motivated, and collaborative team environment where safety, wellbeing, and diversity are celebrated.
• Manage resourcing and talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain top business analysis talent.
About You
• 3 to 5 years’ leadership experience with a strong track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Background as a Business Analyst and/or working within Agile delivery squads, preferably with 8–10 years’ experience in complex projects.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is highly desirable.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
• Deep understanding of business analysis frameworks, professional standards, and agile ways of working.
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex ideas and foster collaboration.
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, IT or related field preferred; relevant certifications a plus.
