Are you a motivated and experienced professional passionate about building strong business relationships and driving sales growth? We’re looking for someone to manage and grow a portfolio of intermediaries, ensuring excellent support and service that leads to increased business and profitability. This role offers the chance to work closely with a variety of teams and partners, develop new business opportunities, and make a real impact in the commercial and rural insurance markets.
What You’ll Do
- Build and nurture strong intermediary relationships to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and grow profitable business.
- Drive sales revenue by identifying new business opportunities and managing major renewals that require innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Claims, Operations, and Underwriting to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support and promote Vero’s regional network, leveraging existing relationships and expanding market presence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of regional sales strategies to maximise growth and brand visibility.
- Ensure underwriting and risk assessment solutions align with Vero’s guidelines, supporting profitable new business acquisition and retention.
- Encourage adoption of new digital tools and platforms among brokers to streamline processes.
- Lead your own professional development and actively support the training of distribution team members.
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial general insurance and sales relationship management ideally with Broking and/or Business Development experience.
- ANZIIF Senior Associate CIP or Diploma in Financial Services (mandatory).
- Strong commercial understanding of general insurance markets, products, and underwriting.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic intermediary partnerships.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a commercial mindset.
- Highly motivated and adaptable, with a customer-first attitude.
- Business or related degree preferred.
