About the role

As a Software Engineer you will work with the Engineering Practice to design, develop and implement improvements to our capability in Engineering including people, tools, culture, and way of working. The role includes systems analysis, design, development, maintenance & ongoing support.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable software solutions using Agile and DevOps practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems that meet business needs
  • Drive automation and embed DevSecOps principles to enhance delivery efficiency
  • Contribute to technical analysis, estimation, and implementation decisions
  • Support the creation and reuse of development assets including libraries, test cases, and documentation
  • Perform unit and integration testing, ensuring robust and reliable code

What you'll bring 

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in Java/Spring Boot
  • Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS (ALB/ELB, EC2) and OpenShift
  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience with testing frameworks like WireMock, REST Assured, Pact JV, Jest, or Enzyme
  • Knowledge of React UI or similar frontend technologies is preferred
