Suncorp’s Partner Performance team manages over 60 contracted personal injury providers (including rehab, medico-legal, imaging, exercise physiology and specialist providers), servicing eight CTP and Workers Compensation schemes nationally. The team works to optimise provider performance and deliver the best possible outcomes for injured people and the schemes. These providers operate within a highly regulated environment and are managed within Suncorp’s procurement, risk and provider management frameworks. Governance activities are required to manage these contracts in accordance with these frameworks.

The purpose of this role is to have primary accountability for governance activities pertaining to the contracted providers, within the scope of the Partner Performance team’s responsibilities. This requires strong engagement and relationship management with the eight personal injury schemes, internal functions (including Risk, Compliance and Security Assurance) and external contracted providers. It would suit someone who enjoys complexity, is a self-starter with sound organisational skills and is able to manage a diverse range of tasks in an autonomous manner.

What you’ll be doing (not limited to):

  • Ongoing engagement and stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Management of contract changes and renewals in collaboration with Procurement
  • Completion of risk artifacts through Suncorp’s Ariba Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) platform
  • Management of provider adherence to EPSS (data security) requirements
  • Reporting on provider performance (monthly and ad-hoc, requiring use of Excel)
  • Maintenance of providers’ risk register (tracking contract compliance).

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years appropriate industry experience in insurance or financial services
  • Experience in stakeholder and contract management (desired)
  • Experience in governance, risk, compliance, or quality roles an advantage
  • Experience with personal injury claims management and use of providers an advantage
  • Ability to be proactive and work autonomously within a diverse working environment.
