About The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Project Coordinator to join our commercial painting team in Rotorua and Tauranga. This integral role is responsible for managing operational activities on the job, including safety, contractors, compliance, and profitable project delivery. This role will be responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining the project management framework and ensuring that it is complied with by the team.
This integral role will provide you with the opportunity to join our supportive and collaborative team that delivers commercial painting projects to high-profile clients.
Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Tauranga - Rotorua
Salary: $75,000 + Fully maintained work vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of commercial paint and washing projects.
- Organize timely provision of project services to meet safety, timeframes, budget and quality requirements.
- Organise and plan subcontractors and internal labour for the projects
- Arrange all materials and equipment for site
- Monitor associated key performance indicators.
- Manage client expectations through frequent, accurate and timely updates, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Follow company processes and procedures for working with contractors and assist in ensuring that all subcontractors have the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to deliver the operational requirements in line with Programmed HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensures the safety of all people on our sites through our HSEQ policies and procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, ideally, you will have experience in managing site-based teams and be driven to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Current Driver’s License
- First-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competencies in the use of excel, word and outlook.
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
