The Role
Join our high performing sales team who are dedicated to growing our commercial painting business in WA. We currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth.
Reporting to the State Manager, you will identify and drive NEW business opportunities across all markets within your territory - initiating contact with key decision makers, and building strong relationships and commercial solutions to secure the business.
Our Business Development Manager’s drive sales growth by selling high value long term contracts. The role requires you to develop and write and present persuading proposals and bids and the sales process at times is complex, with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. Experience in similar selling environments would be advantageous.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in business development or sales roles within construction, painting, or property services
- Experience in commercial painting is an advantage
- Driven to succeed, results-focused, and consistently high-performing
- Skilled in communicating tailored business solutions to key decision-makers with clarity and confidence
- Committed to maximising customer outcomes by identifying needs and offering innovative solutions
- Proven success in sourcing and converting prospects into long-term clients
- Capable of maintaining a strong, profitable sales pipeline
- Experienced in preparing proposals, bids, and tenders for large-scale projects
- You will be accountable for delivering on target sales results and KPI’s quarterly.
