The Role
We have an outstanding opportunity for a focused and energetic individual to join our grounds maintenance team as a Operations Administrator in Brisbane to support and add to our existing team.
Position Summary
The Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the Contract managers and Co-ordinators in the execution of the SE Qld Open Space Contracts and Reactive Maintenance Operations in SE Queensland Open Space. This role ensures the efficient support, scheduling and completion of Scheduled Maintenance and Reactive Servicing across all Open space Contracts in SE Qld. The Operational Administrator is responsible for the Administrative support and governance support for SE Qld Branches including HSEQ and Induction Onboarding requirements. This role is to ensure that all SE Qld Branches maintain HSEQ, Employee Onboarding, Training , customer portal management and Accreditation are compliant with the broader Organisations Requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Role will be based out of the Woodridge office
- Waged role based on 38 hrs per week
- Ensure Reactive Work completion is above 85% SLA completion
- Ordering bulk equipment/materials for Branches/Teams
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support works completion
- Assisting setting up of jobs in system.
- Service Completion Reports, Customer Reporting
- Provide support to Operations Teams
- Purchase Orders
- Identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshooting challenges as they arise.
- Support the SE Qld Branches with New Employee Onboarding
- Inductions
- Training
- Assist in supporting WMS/scheduling of work
- Support managing Licences/Accreditation requirements of customers and employees
- Support the SE Qld Branches with HSEQ Governance
- Collation of Audits, Safety Conversations, Toolboxes and Sub Contractor Reviews
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance
- Experience in leading a horticultural / gardening team
- Qualifications or experience horticulture
- Competent written skills
- A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems
- A current driver’s license
